Mind-Body Practices
Mind-body practices like yoga, meditation, and breathwork are invaluable for dancers, helping to manage stress, decrease performance anxiety, and reduce GI distress. These practices also aid in improving sleep and cultivating a healthier relationship with the body and food. By utilizing yoga as a form of non-competitive movement, dancers can embrace embodiment and self-awareness without the pressures of perfection, fostering a deeper connection to themselves. This holistic approach enhances their mental clarity, emotional resilience, and physical balance, ultimately improving their artistry, presence, and grace in dance.

Team Talks
Virtual or in-person team talks on nutrition, mind-body techniques, and body image. 1-hour for an overview and 1.5-hours for a deep dive into the topic.

Performance Nutrition - learn about nutrition for competition and performance. This topic is best understood after learning the Dancer Nutrition Foundations. It’s recommended to book Dancer Nutrition Foundations first.
Meditation & Breathwork for Dancers - learn & experience how meditation & breathwork can increase focus, decrease performance anxiety, and improve sleep quality.
Body Image Talk - a deep conversation & activity surrounding body image and how to embrace your signature shape. This topic pairs well with a dance improv session so dancers’ can connect with their bodies and express the complex feelings they may be experiencing with their bodies.
